Baby Ava's newborn mini session

Almost 3 years ago I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful little boy called Oliver when he was a tiny little newborn. Now this boy had cheeks and lips to die for!!! Fast forward to 2019 and I had a message from Oliver's mummy to say that he was about to be a big brother!!

The day came for me to meet Olivers new little sister Ava and oh my goodness! She was the absolute image of Oliver! They both have those amazing lips and cheeks just ripe for squeezing!!!

Ava's parents decided to have a mini session meaning only Ava would be photographed this time round. A mini newborn session allows you to get just a few images of your little one if you'd prefer to only have images of your brand new little family member. A mini session lasts only an hour so if baby is awake we do some wide eyed awake shots and if he/she is asleep then we make the most of those sleepy little poses we love so much.

During Ava's session she was most definitely awake!! This girl would make anyone doubt that babies cant see when they're born!! she followed me around the room and stared intently right down the lens. We did, however manage one or 2 squishy little sleepy poses (although I seem to remember one of them being one of those fleeting blinking moments haha)
